When I started CF I was very intimidated by the barbell. However, it took all of 5 minutes for me to fall in love with the workouts and results. You don't have to be aiming for the games (although if you are we will encourage you all the way!). I am just a working mom who wants some barbell therapy in my life. The community at MCCF is a wonderful group of caring, supportive people who cheer each other on at the gym and in life. As a coach, I just want people to discover they CAN do things that maybe were intimidating at one point. It is a great confidence builder both in and out of the gym.
I want to be better. I am still a work in progress. As I get stronger, I can see the improvements. I want to help you see improvements as well. Focus on form first, the weights will come. If I can help you improve one little thing that makes a difference in your workouts, I'm willing to try!
Passion - I want people to enjoy CF as much as I do. It has truly impacted my life in a positive way. Anyone can do these workouts. Everything has a scale or modification, and safety always comes first. Motivation - small accomplishments that add up to big ones over time. Stick with it - you will surprise yourself!
